Crane A&E is currently in search of a Electrical Engineer (III) to join their dynamic team. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in sustaining and developing Military/Defense equipment and applications. Your primary focus will be enhancing and analyzing RF and mixed-signal communications hardware components and modifying existing components to new/ updated specifications.
As an Electrical Engineer your key responsibilities will include:

Work effectively with all functional groups to achieve product performance and cost targets. Build quality and manufacturability into the design.

Understand, decompose, and define product and process requirements to support product development, sustaining and R&D.

Produce thorough and accurate design and development work of suitable complexity that meets all customer specifications and company requirements for schedule, cost, producibility, quality, and reliability.

Utilize proficient problem-solving processes, documentation, tools and analyses to quickly and effectively identify root cause and corrective actions to technical challenges and/or issue in support of product development and product sustaining assignments

Generate and review product development documentation including proposals, technical reports, procedures, correspondence, etc. necessary to satisfy customer and program requirements.

Produce thorough and accurate design and development work of considerable complexity that meets all customer specifications

Direct functional, acceptance, qualification, or development testing on new or modified designs
The successful Electrical Engineer will have:
-
BA / BS in in an Engineering discipline, MS preferred.?

3+ years of experience working within Radio Frequency
-
Familiarity with microwave/millimeter-wave design principles?

Proficiency in RF and mixed-signal design technologies, including receivers, synthesizers, and transmitter

Proficiency in adapting, modifying and understanding existing RF products
