Job Description
RPS are working with an international aerospace manufacturer who are looking to grow their current team in the North West by 50% over the next 12 months, following a series of new contract wins. As such, they are looking to recruit an experienced Quality Engineer to work from their facility on the Wirral.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support New Product Introduction
- Compile FAIR documentation AS9102
- Create Inspection Plan
- Support FMEA
- Compile concessions
- Action Customer Returns
- NCR & MRB control
- 8D, PFMEA, PSCA/Continuous Improvement
- Ensure close out of relevant RCCA
- Review Specifications
- Setup/Control Quality Report databases
- To support the Quality Manager in various tasks
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree/HNC Engineering and/or Equivalent professional qualification
- Working knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems and NADCAP
- Ability to audit to ISO AS9100/ISO9001
- Ability to implement Quality Systems and databases including process, flow charts and SPC
- Experience with continuous improvement techniques
- Computer literate (Excel proficient)
- Experience within composite manufacturing (Desirable)
