Quality Assurance Engineer – Manufacturing | Exeter

What You’ll Be Doing as Quality Assurance Engineer

  • Investigating non-conforming products and leading root cause analysis using tools like 8D, 5Y, PFMEA, and Six Sigma

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve quality issues and drive improvements

  • Handling customer returns and ensuring resolution within business KPIs

  • Supporting Material Review Board (MRB) activities and First Article Inspection Reports (AS9102)

  • Communicating directly with customers and suppliers to resolve issues and improve satisfaction

  • Analysing quality trends and implementing preventative actions to avoid recurrence

  • Supporting documentation updates and process compliance across operations

What You’ll Bring as Quality Assurance Engineer

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing quality role

  • Proven experience using quality tools and methodologies

  • Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, or NADCAP

  • Strong communication skills across all levels

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and use MS Office

  • Desirable: Six Sigma Green Belt, Q-Pulse, or electroplating experience
