What You’ll Do as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
- Take ownership of mechanical design for valves, pumps, and fluid control devices from concept through development
- Perform and oversee stress, thermal, fluid flow, and tolerance stack-up analyses
- Review and ensure compliance with customer component and sub-tier specifications
- Define and coordinate development testing (DVT, ATP, QTP) and verification matrices
- Prepare and support PDR/CDR technical reviews and customer deliverables (CDRLs)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, QA, supply chain, and program management
- Communicate technical and schedule issues proactively to management
What You Bring as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or equivalent Engineering (advanced degree preferred)
- 2–5 years of design experience, ideally with valves, pumps, or fluid control systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain/maintain security clearance
