Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a CNC Machinist located in Leesburg, FL. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce high-precision components as per engineering specifications. Daily tasks include reading technical drawings, selecting materials, programming machines, ensuring quality control, and inspecting final products. The machinist will ensure compliance with company standards, troubleshoot equipment, and contribute to process optimization efforts.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in operating and programming CNC machinery, with a strong understanding of machining processes and techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics with attention to detail.
  • Experience with material selection, tool setup, and quality control standards in precision manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of inspection tools and methods to ensure product quality, including calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment.
  • Mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to maintain and repair machinery as needed.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively in a manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience in an AS9100D or ISO9001-certified facility is preferred.
  • Completion of a vocational training program or certification in CNC Machining or a related field is a plus.
