Job Description
Our client is seeking a CNC Programmer to support their team in Phoenix, AZ on a permanent basis. The client is an accredited Aerospace sheet metal fabrication and machining manufacturer since 1957, having completed 10,000+ projects for aerospace and defense industries.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new CNC and/or Laser programs based on engineering drawings and models
- Trouble shoot programs and process improvement
- Work with engineering to overcome any issues with process or fixtures
- Edit and convert existing programs for different machines
- Maintain program database for new and existing programs
- Choose appropriate tooling from tooling database
- Work with shop floor for program adjustments and optimization
- Navigate MRP system
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years offline programming experience on 3, 4 and 5-Axis CNC Mills, Laser machines
- Must have experience with Master CAM, or similar Cad Cam System and be willing to be trained to program with Master CAM
- Must have knowledge of Cutting tools and Standard Machining practices. Optimal / not a must, knowledge of Laser machine parameters
Must be able to understand GD&T Other experience that includes:
- Aerospace Machining
- Ability to navigate MRP system
Microsoft Office Applications experience (Excel) Preferred Skills:
- Tooling Design
- Fixture Design
- Probe Programming
Proper inspection methods in relation to GD&T Physical Requirements (if applicable):
- Must be able to spend 10 hours a day at a workstation and/or standing
- All candidates must also have sufficient verbal and written communication skills as well as good problem-solving skills
Additional Information:
- The salary for this position is $80-$85k per annum.

- The role is onsite Monday-Thursday 5am-3.30pm
