We are looking for Machine Operatives to join a leading manufacturer in Peterborough, New Hampshire, specializing in safety-critical components for the aerospace and defense industries. As a direct hire, you will be responsible for assembling complex systems used in high-stakes applications that support national defense and aerospace efforts.
Key Responsibilities – Machine Operative:
· Assemble high-precision components according to detailed blueprints and technical specifications.
· Conduct quality checks to ensure that all assemblies meet strict standards.
· Follow standard procedures for handling, inspecting, and testing components.
· Troubleshoot minor assembly issues and recommend improvements.
· Maintain accurate records and ensure that all required documentation is completed.
GRIND MACHINE OPERATOR
On a typical day as a Grind floor Machine Operator , you will:
- Produce quality parts based on order priorities
- Complete machine set-ups
- Load materials and change tooling and attachments, as needed
- Trouble shoot operating difficulties
- Maintain necessary paperwork
- Perform mathematical calculations for machine and materials
- Ensure that all safety rules and regulations are followed
Grind floor machine operator jobs will include using machines such as centerless grinders, external/internal grinders, face lap and face grind machines, bore and OD hone machines, as well as other related equipment.
