Job Description

Are you a skilled CNC Machinist who thrives on speed, precision, and challenge?

Do you take pride in transforming designs into finished parts—fast—and delivering exceptional work in high-performance environments?

If that sounds like you, this is your opportunity to join a forward-thinking manufacturing team that’s redefining how advanced composite tooling and parts are produced for aerospace, defense, and motorsport applications.

This isn’t a slow, production-line shop. It’s a fast-moving, technology-driven environment where initiative, ownership, and problem-solving are key.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up and operate 3- and 5-axis CNC machines (Zimmerman, HAAS mills, and lathes)

  • Machine billet, foam, castings, and 3D-printed stock

  • Work closely with engineering to provide real-time DFM feedback and drive rapid iteration

  • Support hybrid manufacturing workflows and large-format additive systems

  • Perform in-process and post-process inspections with precision and care

  • Move seamlessly between R&D prototypes and low-rate production

  • Collaborate across engineering, composites, and inspection teams

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of CNC machining experience, including setup, tooling, and troubleshooting

  • 3+ years operating 5-axis gantry mills

  • Strong knowledge of G & M code and CNC operations

  • Fast, proactive, and adaptable — you get things done

  • Quality-focused with a strong sense of ownership

  • Hands-on, physically capable (able to lift up to 50 lbs), and detail-oriented

  • Keen to learn new machines, technologies, and processes on the fly

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or motorsport tooling

  • Background machining complex or non-rectangular stock (foam, prints, castings)

  • Familiarity with HAAS or Siemens controls

  • CAM experience using Tebis, Fusion, or ESPRIT

  • CAD experience with NX, SolidWorks, or CATIA

  • Exposure to 3D printing or additive-subtractive workflows

What’s On Offer

  • Competitive hourly rate ($30–$45/hr) plus shift differential

  • Full medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • Equity option grants

  • 401(k) plan

  • 15 days PTO + 9 company holidays, with anniversary increases
