Role: CMM Operator: Night shift Monday – Thursday: 7:00 PM – 5:00 AM
Responsibilities of CMM Operator:
- Carrying out all inspections in a timely and efficient manner.
- Responsible for verifying components meet specifications and customer requirements.
- Complete production orders and associated documents in relation to the component being inspected/released and maintaining relevant records.
- Verify that documents have been completed correctly by other employees and provide feedback and training when required.
- Ensure the equipment being used is in calibration, accurate and fit for purpose and responsible to notify if not the case.
- Represent the company at external audits and customer liaisons.
- Support and contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing projects and accountable for their own waste management.
- Support teamwork and circulation of experience within the workforce.
- Complying with company health and safety policy.
- Report for any health and safety incidents that occur.
Experience Required for CMM Operator:
- Experience of operating a CMM Machine
- Ideally having a qualification to HNC/HND or equivalent or relevant experience
- Lean Manufacturing experience – desirable
- Good Numerate, and literate skills
- Multi-task and time management.
- Teamwork skills.
