Role: Buyer
Remuneration: £40,000 – £50,000 p/a (negotiable + additional benefits)
Location: Skelmersdale
Your Responsibilities:
- Direct purchasing activities relating to a number of commodities ranges
- Contract negotiation and strategic sourcing exercises
- Review existing suppliers and agreements.
- New supplier identification and engagement
Experience/Skills:
- Strong background in direct purchasing and strategic sourcing
- Industry experience in the automotive sector or a similarly fast-paced environment
- Experience in contract negotiation and implementing cost saving strategies.
