A multi million dollar aircraft manufacturing organisation is seeking a Avionics Technician, they will fund your A&P licence and develop you into a technician or engineering in the rotor craft team.

As an Avionics/Radio Technician, you’ll build, install, and test electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies for aircraft systems in a hands-on, developmental role where precision and quality truly matter.

 

What You’ll Do as an Avionics technician:

  • Build and install electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies for aircraft systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams for precision installations.
  • Install and service instrument panels, antennas, lighting systems, and batteries.
  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on avionics components using meters and diagnostic tools.
  • Collaborate with Avionics and Radio Mechanics to ensure safe, reliable aircraft systems.
  • Modify and repair equipment according to engineering drawings and FAA standards.

 

What We’re Looking For in the Avionics Technician:

  • Experience in avionics or electrical assembly (aerospace preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical diagrams.
  • Proficiency with soldering tools, crimpers, voltmeters, and test equipment.
  • Familiarity with FAA wiring procedures and AC/DC circuit principles.
  • A&P Certification a plus, but not required.

Schedule:

  • First Shift, Monday-Friday (6:00am – 2:30pm)
  • Compensation $26-$30 (flexible if you have an A&P licence) (this is a very low cost of living area, look into a cost of living comparer) .
