One of the World’s leading providers of consumer-packaged goods in their particular industry is looking to speak to an experienced Finance Manager who would be interested in supporting their international sales function of the business, to be offered hybrid working for a site based in Hertfordshire. The role is offering a competitive salary, bonus and benefits scheme, additional training and a clear progression path.

Reporting directly to the heads of international sales, the Finance Manager will be a business key partner to the Sales & Customer Development teams and will provide all aspects of analysis across regions, customers & channels to ensure profitable growth and strategic decision making. Additionally, you will develop financial models, transform data into actionable insights, and identify paths to improve the overall planning and forecasting process. The primary focus of the role will be for international markets.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide actionable insights to the Sales & Customer Development teams and deliver financial commitments, ensure accurate forecasts, identify risks/opportunities, and evaluate customer profitability
  • Advance customer P&L’s and associated reporting needed to communicate customer results against plan
  • Responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting of actuals and variance analysis for the management team
  • Develop financial models and analysis to support strategic initiatives
  • Support overall customer investment, including trade investment, deductions, returns and other customer driven allowances
  • Partner with customer teams to improve periodic sales and trade estimates, through insightful questions and analysis
  • Support Finance leadership in delivering Profitable Revenue Growth Management and capabilities by driving new processes, tools, and insights
  • Collaborate with Finance leadership and Sales leadership to highlight customer investment opportunities and efficiencies

To be considered for this position you’ll need to have a background in consumer-packaged goods, with previous experience of being a business partner to senior leadership that demonstrates strong relationship building and strong resilience.
