The responsibilities of the Quality Manager will be as follows;
To contribute to the strategic development of the company, deliver the applicable objectives and
report on progress.
To take ownership for all Quality Management processes
To work collaboratively with cross-function units to instil a culture of customer excellence
To lead, coach and mentor the Quality Engineering function in problem solving and continuous improvement
To take the lead on customer satisfaction and complaint processes, using tools such as 8D, FMEA, SIX-SIGMA etc
To be responsible for identify root causes, and taking necessary corrective and preventative actions
To Fulfil these responsibilities, the Quality Manager will have the following skill/experience;
Be degree qualified, HNC/HND or equivalent experience
Have the ability to lead, coach & mentor the Quality team to embrace improvement strategies
Have previous experience working in a technical manufacturing environment, ideally Aerospace & Defence
Have proven people management skills and experience
Have the ability to work under own initiatives to result focused objectives
Have excellent communication & IT Skills
