The Responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager will be as follows;
Lead and structure the maintenance team to deliver maintenance and reliability strategy.
Ensure that the maintenance department resource is planned and scheduled effectively.
Ensure maintenance function has the necessary resources to deliver all planned and reactive maintenance activity.
Develop and maintain a reliability centred maintenance culture in partnership with operations team.
Ensure that all maintenance activity complies with the HSE policies, procedures and legislative requirements
To fulfil the responsibilities of Maintenance Manager you must have the following skills and Attributes;
Knowledge of PUWER, COMAH, LOLER, DSEAR,COSHH
Application of RCM tools and techniques, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis preferable.
Experience of COMAH, HAZOP studies.
Thorough understanding of asset management principles and best practices.
Track record of maintenance leadership within a heavy industrial environment.
