The responsibilities of the Lead Planner will include:

  • Leading the governance, deployment & co-ordination of all Project Controls activities across the programme or project
  • Generation, maintenance & updating of project schedule
  • Project Change Management
  • Co-ordination of reporting
  • Leading the management of risk and opportunities
  • Co-ordinate budget control & forecasting across the project team
  • Lead the governance & application of Earned Value Management
  • Co-ordination of applying improvements as part of a continuous improvement culture
  • To ensure that appropriate Controls Governance is followed by the Project Team

The successful Lead Planner will have the following qualities, skills & experience:

  • Self-motivated individual, capable of motivating a team towards a positive, accountable culture
  • Confident with an ability to cultivate working relationships internally and with customers at all levels of the business
  • Skilled communicator (verbal & written) both internally and externally
  • Creative with the ability to produce quality work under various pressures
  • Proven leadership and team membership skills
