As the FPGA Engineer, your responsibilities will be:

  • Designing and developing digital electronic parts/ components/ integrated circuitry

  • Develop code to provide the functionality of the product. 

  • Assembling the prototype equipment, embedding the code and checking the functionality.

  • Speak directly with customers to understand and implement what the customer wants.

  • Producing intelligent digital DAS (idDAS - Intelligent Digital DAS)

As the successful FPGA Engineer, you’ll have knowledge and skills of: 

  • Radio engineering background and have analogue software-defined radio expertise

  • Knowledge of O-RAN and C-RAN 

  • Knowledge of filter synthesis 

  • Demonstrable experience in C++ programming and VHDL 

  • Demonstrable experience working with analogue

  • Knowledge of CPRI standards; Radio Equipment Control (REC) and Radio Equipment (RE)

  • Degree qualified in a relevant subject or equivalent experience
