The Electronic Engineer will have the following responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the engineering team in EMC, communications & electronic systems
  • Provide support troubleshooting existing projects in the electronic domain
  • Writing simple software for test, or specifying software for external company to write
  • Identify the correct tools and software to develop systems integration capability
  • Ensure consistent engineering best practice and innovation is always applied
  • Ensure that designs are fit for purpose and exceed customers’ expectations
  • Ensure all electronic designs meet project engineering timelines and budgets
  • Support events and meetings with potential customers

The successful Electronic Engineer will have the following experience, skills & qualities:

  • Degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences, ready to apply for a Chartered status if not already achieved
  • Qualified Electronics / Electrical Engineer with hands-on experience in safety-critical sectors
  • Ability to provide subject-expert electronics / electrical knowledge on complex bids and project work
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well at all levels internally and externally
  • Sound understanding of regulatory requirements and product safety
