RPS are working closely with a well-known aerospace parts supplier in North Wales, who are looking to recruit an additional two people within their purchasing & procurement team. These permanent roles will be based primarily on-site at their facility near Wrexham and officially titled as a Buyer position, however they would also be an ideal fit for someone from an expediting, planning or purchasing admin background, with salaries on offer between £24,000 and £32,000 p/a.

Reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager, you’ll be an active member of the procurement team and heavily involved with purchasing and planning activities to support the company’s engineering and production departments. Day to day duties will include liaising and negotiating with suppliers, identifying new supply chain opportunities, coordinating with planning and logistics personnel, as well as managing data and admin on the central ERP/MRP systems.

As these roles are ideal for applicants looking to learn and develop skills further there is no exhaustive list of requirements to apply, however knowledge of any of the following would be beneficial: 
•    MRP / ERP systems (such as SAP)
•    PO Approvals
•    Invoice Queries
•    Managing Order Books (in & out)
•    MS Excel (formatting data and using V Lookup)
•    RCCA and Continuous Improvement
•    Engineering / Manufacturing Environment
